About The Position

Cymotive has been working as the trusted cyber partner of the Volkswagen Group since 2016 securing over 2 million vehicles. We have various products in Intrusion Detection, Vulnerability Management and Remediation that are unique in the automotive industry. We are looking for an excellent and experienced QA manager to join a group who develop and shape the future protection against automotive cyberattacks.

As a quality engineering manager, you will manage testing engineers, automation engineers and team leaders, testing and developing in-vehicle Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and future cybersecurity solutions for the automotive industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and technical expertise for In-vehicle testing and integration from specification and planning, through execution.
  • Monitor all the QA activities, test results, leaked defects, root cause analysis and identify areas of improvement. Define KPIs and Implement steps required to improve the process.
  • Fluent communication with development teams, project manager and customers regarding QA status and plans.
  • Agile team collaboration to deliver quickly based on changing demands.
  • Investing in the personal and professional growth of each team member and supports them in maximizing their impact on the business.
  • Accelerating team performance by providing thoughtful feedback, technical mentorship, and setting goals and expectations
  • Gather and present testing coverage, testing activities and testing plans for the project to the key stakeholders.
  • Lab owner, manage purchasing and budget. 
  • Stay hands-on.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as a QA manager.
  • BSc in computer science or other related field
  • Understanding of QA principles and methodology
  • At least 2 years' experience leading automation teams
  • Experience with QA on Linux, hardware and networking.
  • A team player with excellent communication skills, ability to work with multi-tasking and dynamic environment
  • Fluent English
  • Ability to travel abroad.
  • Hands on capabilities and attitude.
  • Ability to write Python scripts - Advantage.
  • Experience in cyber-security - Advantage
