The Bookkeeper is responsible for the financial processing of transactions for an organization. The duties include daily bookkeeping and record keeping, financial reporting and the preparation of tax records for financial audits.


The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

·      Calculate, post business transactions, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records, and provide other clerical support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization

·      Reconciliations of vendors accounts on a monthly basis

·      Reconcile bank statements, and credit cards

·      Clarify any questionable invoice items, prices or receiving signatures

·      Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.

·      Paying employees by verifying expense reports and preparing reimbursements and travel reports

·      Obtain proper information and/or data regarding invoice payments

·      Assemble invoices to be completed for payment

·      Review invoices approvals and requisitions requests for satisfactory payment process

·      Maintain copies of invoices or correspondence necessary for filling and documentation

·      Paying vendors by scheduling wire transfers and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding financial issues

·      Ensuring bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures 

Requires enthusiasm, good teamwork communications, hard worker, and details oriented:

·      Certified Bookkeeper (Type 2)- at least 3-5 years’ experience - must

·      Proficient with Priority - must

· Manage fixed assets, depreciation, and tracking of asset movement. 

·      Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

·      Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal

·      Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of management

·     Interpersonal skills- Teamwork and collaboration

·      Punctuality - Attention to details and data entry accuracy

  ·   Experience in the High-Tech industry - An advantage

· Experience in Priority’s fixed assets module – an advantage.
