Sales Account Director (m/f/d)

About The Position

We are looking for a seasoned Head of Sales to join our branch office in Germany.

You will lead the Sales and Sales operations team to drive revenue growth with the senior management of Cymotive Engineering Services and Cymotive product management. You will define and implement the Sales and Revenue expansion strategy inside and outside of our existing client base.

The Sales Director´s core responsibilities will combine executing on new business sales, leading our business development activities laterall inside the existing customer base and towards new customer, equipping the team with the skills and tools required to enable it to serve the various customer groups in the Automotive Market in an optimal way. You will support the marketing and communication activities for Cymotive in liaison with the marketing department.

The responsibilities are as following:

  • Creating new business opportunities with prospective customers, as well as growing and further enhancing business within existing accounts
  • Successful delivery of agreed projects in scope, time, efforts for current year: confirm project scope, set up, deliveries, commitments, and schedules
  • Main contact point for the customer (continuous presence at customer’s sites) - establish and maintain relationships with customer’s senior and C-level stakeholders to facilitate successful engagement.
  • Revenue growth for next years: set demand for capacity and resources inside and out side the team
  • Profitability of the owned scope: leading negotiations, managing closely the full cycle of sales to cash
  • Customer satisfaction: define and implement measures to ensure delivery of work products (in time, quality, scope). Bring insights to the organization and constantly push for improvement. 
  • Establish successful strategy for addressed customer’s departments utilizing CYMOTIVE portfolio and identify new business opportunities.
  • Perform planning, cost and revenue forecasting, align internally on capacity planning and availability.
  • Verification, presentation, negotiation, and closure of offers
  • Assess risks, define action points, drive implementation and closure of defined measures
  • Establish and maintain relationships inside the organization - with managers, project managers, R&D engineers and other key players in CYMOTIVE and provide effective communication with CYMOTIVE engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Out-standing sales skills to VW group – worked closely with key-stakeholders in VW organization
  • Proven track record of sales of embedded software products and software engineering services
  • Results driven and adept at balancing strategic thinking with targeted action
  • Experienced at contract negotiations, global account coordination, forecasting, strategic planning, project management skills, and constructing properly aligned sales incentive plans
  • Proven ability to communicate and motivate internal and external resources necessary to achieve and exceed sales objectives, as well as build multi-layered partnerships with technical and non-technical stake holders necessary to successfully influence organizations and sales channels from top-to-bottom
  • Excellent German and English skills
