HR Generalist (m/f/d)


About The Position

Below are the responsibilities, authorities, and competencies of an HR Generalist reporting to the CEO.

As part of your role, you will have various responsibilities, involving anything from employee onboarding and recruitment to payroll administration, continuous improvement of HR processes, and systems to facilitate continuous learning. Supporting our Team on employer branding and the Marcom activities by strengthening our Cymotive brand. This is a great opportunity to be a singular HR function in a growing company.

The responsibilities are the following:

  • Operational and strategic HR management
  • Providing HR advice and support to the CEO and managers
  • Driving and planning recruitment processes including contract negotiations
  • Working on marketing activities to strengthen our employer branding among relevant audiences
  • Establishing company HR processes and guidelines and communication
  • Developing HR-related templates and documents
  • Continuously improving and managing onboarding processes and training
  • Executing employees’ learning & development plans: Professional conference, Technical training, Proposing and managing the development of Soft skills via e.g. courses or initiatives
  • Ensuring a positive office atmosphere, e.g. arrange welfare activities
  • Managing offboarding processes
  • Interface to the external payroll office
  • Providing employee support for the HR information system


  • Experience in HR of at least 5-8 years, preferably in small or medium-sized companies, e.g. as a Business Partner, HR Generalist, HR Hiring professional
  • German educational background, preferably in the fields of psychology/sociology/ Human Resources
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to details and excellent active listening skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills in English and German (mother language level)
  • General understanding of German labor law
  • Self-driven and “can do” attitude
